Datadog integration

ThisIsDown supports Datadog in two ways: an iframe status widget and optional event delivery through the Datadog API.

Iframe dashboard widget​

  1. Open your ThisIsDown Datadog integration settings.
  2. Copy the iframe URL.
  3. In Datadog, add an iframe widget to a dashboard.
  4. Paste the URL into the widget.

This is the recommended mode for a lightweight status view.

Events API mode​

Use Events API mode if you also want ThisIsDown events inside Datadog.

  1. Set mode to events_api or both.
  2. Add a Datadog API key.
  3. Set the Datadog site, for example datadoghq.com or datadoghq.eu.
  4. Send a test and save.
