Zendesk integration

Use Zendesk to create support tickets when monitored services have incidents.

What you need

  • Your Zendesk workspace URL, for example https://yourcompany.zendesk.com.
  • The email address used for Zendesk API authentication.
  • A Zendesk API token.

Setup

  1. Open Zendesk Admin Center.
  2. Enable API token access if needed.
  3. Create an API token.
  4. In ThisIsDown, paste the workspace URL, email, and token.
  5. Send a test and save.

Troubleshooting

  • The workspace URL should include https://.
  • Use an API token, not your Zendesk password.
  • If ticket creation fails, verify that the user has permission to create tickets.
